Adult Learning Programs Manager
Moraine Farm Challenge Course Manager (2021-present)
Josie grew up in the mountains of northern New Mexico and then attended Seattle University, where she learned she likes to be and work outside- life in a lab was not for her! She received a BS in Geology from the University of New Mexico, where she spent time in the field and developed her first real appreciation of experiential education. Before coming to PA she worked at Girl Scout Camps in New Mexico, Utah, Ohio and Massachusetts, and spent more than 10 years leading trips in the four-corners states. She has also been a professional facilitator at Nature's Classroom, which taught her much about New England ecology and fostered an interest in effective teaching methods and how to foster healthy learning environments and communities. Josie is currently completing her graduate degree at Plymouth State University. In her free time she loves playing with her dog Daphne, growing interesting plants, and discovering new board games.
