Alex Kramer
Challenge Course Inspection & Repairs Manager
Alex was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in New Jersey and Florida. He spent his summers at YMCA Camp Lawrence in New Hampshire in his high school and college years, then moved to New York where he received a BA in Hospitality Management from Syracuse University. Growing up he worked in the restaurant industry and as a camp counselor and challenge course facilitator/director at Camp Lawrence from 1997-2003, which piqued his interest and began his career in adventure. Alex was with PA as a Challenge Course Installer and Assistant Manager from 2004-2009, then returned in 2018 as the Inspections and Repairs Manager. He lives in Ipswich, MA with his wife Kim, their son Peter, and a lab named Sadie. Alex loves snowboarding and the outdoors - especially boating in the Ipswich and Essex Rivers, where he also commercially digs clams. He also stays actively involved on a volunteer basis with YMCA Camp Lawrence.
